Message 3 Mar

Sri Ramana Arulmutha's explanation: Don't complain to God. The question asked by Dewan Raghavaya, who had come from Pudukkottai, to Bhagwan Ramana, Ramana's answer, and its explanation. Dewan, we are all wandering in the world, one after another we have some problem, we don't know how to get out of it.

No matter how much I complain to God, nothing is satisfactory. What should I do? Ramana, don't complain to God, surrender. Diwan, even if I surrender, nothing will change.

Ramana, don't complain that nothing will change even if you surrender. If you surrender, let him behave as he wishes. Don't act according to my wishes, let him behave according to your wishes.

Don't be sad about it. It may seem like suffering. In the end, it will be different.

We don't like all that. Diwan, we are not like you. We all have family, relatives, and many other things.

They can't be like, "Let them all go bad, it's your choice," said Bhagavan. Ramana, as you said, means "surrender." You should agree that everything is a burden.

A student asks her guru about the above-mentioned conversation and asks for an explanation. Hello guru. I have read a conversation of Bhagwan Ramana.

A Pudukkottai Diwan complains to the Raivan about his troubles, but he is not satisfied. To that, Ramana says, "If you don't complain, surrender." I have a big doubt here.

We go to the temple to tell our grievances and pray to God! Save me and solve this problem? Why shouldn't Ramana complain? What is the big difference between complaining and surrendering? Kuzali came! This is a very subtle difference. One. Complaining is a request.

God! I have this problem. This is how you should solve it, we tell God. Here is me, the ego.

You take the right to decide for me what is good and what is bad. You treat God like a servant. Two.

Surrender. Surrender. This is a handover.

God! I have a problem. But it is up to you how you solve it or leave it unresolved. Do whatever you feel is right for you.

This is where I digress. You are giving the decision-making power to the victim. Let me give you an example.

You are going to the doctor. Sir! Doctor! Don't give me an injection. Don't give me bitter medicine.

Don't treat the disease. But the disease should be cured. Isn't this ignorance? This is what is called a system.

Doctor! I need to be cured. Give me an injection or a cure, whatever you want. My body is in your hands.

This is wisdom. This is surrender. Ramana says, "Don't complain to the doctor."

Give it to him. Great example, my dear Guru! But the next sentence of that Divan is the frustration of all people like me. He says that even if I surrender, nothing will change.

That is my problem. I have also said many times that God, everything is your work. But my problems are not solved! So, does surrender not work? Did you notice what Ramana replied there? You should not complain like that, saying that even if you surrender, nothing will change.

Do you know why? If you have truly surrendered, you will not have any expectation of change. If you are sad that the situation has not changed, then you are still hoping that you will follow your destiny? How is this surrender? This is business. I surrender.

In return, you are bargaining to remove my suffering. True surrender is to leave it to God, saying, "God, if you think I need this suffering, let it be, I have no objection." Alas! How can you say, "Let there be suffering?" Doesn't it hurt? It hurts.

Raman says it himself. It will seem like it will be painful. In the end, it will be different.

We don't get it all. Take the example of a mother. Her child has a foot injury.

The mother uses a needle to dig out the lump. The child cries out, "Mom, it hurts, leave me alone." Will the mother let go? She won't.

Even if there is blood, she will pick up the mole. In the eyes of the child, what the mother does is suffering. In the eyes of the mother, it is kindness.

I gave the example of a doctor a while ago, and Kulasekar Azhwar has already used that example in a poem to describe his state of surrender. If you live, the doctor will burn the milk of the patient, and the love that never fades, but the pain will not be relieved by magic. Mother, you are my dear, my dear Brahmin. Even if you use a knife to burn the medicine with fire, and treat it with fire, so that it causes great pain, the patient thinks that it is all for his own good, and he loves the doctor, just as the patient loves the doctor, who stays in the temple of the Lord, even if you give me unbearable sufferings through your magic, I, who am possessed by you, will consider all those sufferings as your grace. Ramana says this, this may seem like suffering to you now, but the healing process is for a great good, do not try to stop it in the middle, leave it to his will, I understand, Guru, but the next question that the dewan asks touched my heart. We are not like you, we have a family, relatives, and a bond. Let them all suffer. Your will cannot be. Lord, this is my reality. I have a husband and children. Oh God. Can I just watch them suffer and say, "Unnishtha"? Isn't that irresponsible? The most important question is, Vandar Kuzali. Many people don't understand the difference between surrender and irresponsibility. Ramana didn't say, "Don't worry about your family, don't make noise." He said, "Give up your attachment and do your duty." I will give you a practical example of this. A bank teller handles crores of rupees every day, protects them, looks at the accounts, but when he goes home in the evening, alas! Will he go home worrying about whether that money is in the bank? Or will he cry in his heart as if his own money has been lost if the bank receives less money that day? No, because this is surrender. Your family, your children,Your husband, none of these people are yours. They are God's property. God has made you a trustee. It is your job to take care of them. It is His job to decide what should happen to them. It is God's job. You are ruining the child's education. That is your duty. But if he does not study properly, you panic and get angry with him. What will a woman who has surrendered do? She will remain silent, saying that I have done my duty. The end is in God's hands. Letting anything go wrong is not surrender. Surrender is believing that whatever you do, God, is for the good. So I have to try but I should not worry about the speed. Isn't this what Krishna said in the Gita? This is what Ramana finally said to that Diwan. Hand over everything to God. We are going by train. Let us put the box on our heads. After boarding the train, we will put the box down and sleep peacefully. The train carries us as well. Why are you carrying the burden of the family on your head? Your mind will become as light as a feather. Will doing so solve the problem? The problem may or may not be solved, but you, that is, your mind will change. Earlier you were afraid of the problem, now you will have the courage to say that my father will take care of it. Surrender is not about changing the situation, it is about changing your perspective on the situation. Guru, for so long I thought that complaining was devotion. Now I understand. Complaining is doing as I wish. Surrendering is doing as you wish. Trusting that the Lord's will is wiser and more merciful than mine. Devotion is perfectly right. The Lord is a great sculptor who is carving you. When he hits the chisel, it hurts the stone. If the stone thinks that he is breaking me, it is complaining. If he thinks that he is turning me into a beautiful statue. That is surrender. From now on, when you pray, don't make a list. He will say that there is nothing you don't know. Treat me the way you want to be treated. There is no substitute for that peace. Thank you very much Guru. Today I have laid my worries at the feet of Bhagwan Ramana. Now he is Ishtam Om Namo Bhagavate Sri Ramanaya MadhivanThat is surrender. From now on, when I pray, I will not ask for a list. There is nothing you do not know. Treat me as you wish. There is no substitute for that peace. Thank you very much, Guru. Today, I have laid my worries at the feet of Bhagwan Ramana. Now, it is His will. Om Namo Bhagavate Sri Ramanaya Madhivan. That is surrender.
