Atman and Its Two Conditions
Atman is one, but it expresses itself in two distinct conditions:
CHALA Atman – the mobile condition
ACHALA Atman – the immobile or still condition
These are not two different Atmans. They are two states of the same Atman.
---
CHALA Atman – The Human Mind
In the CHALA condition, Atman is in movement.
This movement appears as:
Thoughts
Desires
Attachments
Emotions
Fear, anxiety, expectations
Likes and dislikes
Continuous mental noise
This mobile Atman is what we call the human mind.
Because it is always moving, it:
Creates conflict
Produces suffering
Generates negativity
Experiences pleasure and pain alternately
Is bound by time, memory, and imagination
Suffering is not accidental here.
Movement itself is the cause of suffering.
As long as Atman remains in Chala condition, it will experience disturbance.
---
ACHALA Atman – The Divine Condition
When movement reduces and finally stops, Atman enters the ACHALA condition.
This immobility is:
Stillness
Silence
Thoughtlessness
Desirelessness
Attachment-free existence
This is what is called Divine.
The Divine:
Does not think unnecessarily
Does not react
Does not accumulate emotions
Does not suffer
Does not depend on anything external
Divinity is not a belief or moral purity.
It is a functional condition of stillness.
Because there is no movement, there is no friction, and hence no suffering.
---
Human Birth and the Purpose of Life
Everyone is born as a human, meaning:
Born in Chala condition
Born with a restless mind
Born with negativity and vulnerability to suffering
But birth is not the goal.
The real purpose of human life is:
> To transform from Chala Atman to Achala Atman before death
If one dies only as a human mind, the journey remains incomplete.
To become Divine before death means:
Ending unnecessary thinking
Dissolving negativity
Dropping psychological identity
Living in inner stillness while the body is alive
This is true liberation.
---
Beyond the Divine – Higher Stages of Stillness
Becoming Divine (Achala Atman) is not the end of the journey.
Beyond this, there are higher conditions:
Parabrahman – Super Divine
Chivam – Supreme Divine
These are not conceptual upgrades. They are deeper intensities of stillness.
As one ascends:
Human mind dissolves further
Subtle traces of individuality vanish
Even the sense of “being Divine” disappears
Stillness becomes absolute and natural
The higher the stage:
The farther one is from human qualities
The farther one is from mental movement
The closer one is to pure existence without identity
---
Why Advanced Stillness Cannot Be Explained
Advanced stillness:
Has no reference point in human experience
Has no thoughts to describe it
Has no emotions to narrate it
Has no movement to observe
Language belongs to the Chala condition.
Advanced stillness belongs to Achala beyond mind.
Therefore, it cannot be explained, only lived.
Any explanation will be incomplete.
---
One Absolute Truth
Regardless of stage—Divine, Super Divine, or Supreme Divine—one truth remains constant:
> Stillness does not suffer.
Suffering exists only in movement
Negativity exists only in thought
Pain exists only where mind exists
As stillness deepens, suffering naturally disappears.
---
Conclusion
Spiritual life is not about belief, worship, or morality.
It is about reducing movement within Atman.
From Chala to Achala
From human to Divine
From disturbance to stillness
From suffering to freedom
The more still you become,
the less human you are,
and the more true you become.
