The Power of Positivity and Inner Purity

In our journey of life, doing good for others is one of the simplest yet most profound actions we can undertake. It not only benefits those around us but also shapes our inner character and strengthens our spiritual growth. True goodness lies not in seeking people to help, but in recognizing the needs of those already connected to us. Opportunities to uplift others are plentiful if we open our hearts and minds to them.

Every positive action brings happiness and peace, not only to the recipient but also to the giver. When we bring joy to another soul, we nurture the purity within ourselves. This purity strengthens our spiritual foundation and brings us closer to inner harmony.

However, true positivity can only flow when we maintain an undisturbed state of mind. A calm mind is fertile ground for good thoughts and noble actions. When we manage to stay unshaken by external distractions, positivity becomes our natural state. This, in turn, enhances our purity and helps us avoid the creation of negativity.

The journey to inner liberation involves a twofold process. On one side, practices like Silentation—a discipline of quieting the mind through meditation or introspection—help us cleanse accumulated negativity. On the other side, cultivating a positive and undisturbed mindset ensures we don’t create new negativity.

This dual approach of removing negativity while fostering positivity gradually moves us toward spiritual liberation. It’s a gentle yet powerful process that requires consistency, self-awareness, and a commitment to nurturing peace within ourselves.

By doing good for others, maintaining a positive mind, and practicing inner stillness, we can unlock the door to lasting spiritual growth and inner freedom. The path is clear: think good, do good, and keep the mind serene. As this state becomes a habit, we naturally move closer to our higher self and the ultimate goal of liberation.

Let us embrace this journey with dedication and faith, knowing that every small step we take brings us closer to the peace and purity we seek.

1) Dear abhyasis,

Reduction of desires and expectations show spiritual progress. You can introspect yourself to know the progress. When you lose every quality of your mind, you can experience more calmness.

The journey is to reach a quality less condition of the mind. Simultaneously, you can observe your unwanted thinking is getting reduced.

Every spiritual progress is to create more calmness and peace. The peace that you are getting within you is from your purity of mind.

Question:-Master, when negativity is removed or destroyed, does it get converted to Positivity and does this transformation release any energy like heat or anything else?

Master-Yes, negativity is converted as positivity because of the destruction of impurities. For this destructive purpose, there will be a heat energy emerging within the practitioner.

But during calmness or peaceful conditions, there can be a cooling energy felt by the practitioner which can help others also to get peace. This can't be experienced by everyone.

 Message 8  Jan , 8. am

1) Emptiness is the condition of the mind experienced by the Self. That experience is not ultimate. When the experiencer loses His capacity to experience the emptiness, that becomes ultimate. Because the experiencer himself has become the emptiness. This is the ultimate called Chivam.

2) Abhyasi- I know it's not easy to comprehend the Chivam condition Master.

But if experiencer has become the emptiness,  then what happens to the ego?

Master-EGO is the power of the human mind. When the mind gets transformed as omnipresent energy, its power can't be called Ego. If you want to continue the name Ego, the power, you can call it the Supreme Divine Ego or Shivaigo.

3) Dear Abhyasis,

Today, the name of God is often misused and misunderstood. We attempt to associate God with so many things, but the truth is that God is not something or everything but everything exists in God. God, in essence, is not a thing, but unique in its nature.

The uniqueness of God is best described as Nothingness. However, we often project our desires, wishing to find God in everything we see or enjoy. These wishes stem from our limited understanding and are not aligned with the true nature of divinity.

The term "God" itself is frequently misinterpreted due to our lack of knowledge. When we transcend "everything," we encounter God. In Tamil, this is aptly expressed as KADAVUL—a term that signifies crossing beyond everything.

Another profound truth is that KADAVUL represents an energy, independent of the material world and human thoughts. It can be seen everywhere in the universe as SPACE.

The Essence of Chivality

or the essence of spirituality is to attain the state of KADAVUL, also known as Chivam. This involves detachment from the materialistic world. The human mind is inherently tied to materialism (ANYTHING MATERIAL), and the purpose of spiritual practice is to disconnect from these attachments.

This state of liberation, or Mukhti, is the freedom from the bindings of the material world. While the mind revels in material pleasures, detaching from them is a significant challenge because of the impurities and negativity that forces the mind to get attached to it. The dissolution of these impurities leads to the dissolution of the impure mind itself.

*_The Path to Liberation_*

Ordinary individuals often lack interest in liberation, as they find joy in the material world. However, the state achieved after liberation transcends worldly enjoyment and pleasures. It is an experience so profound that it is beyond  explanation.

Those who reach this liberated state no longer seek materialistic pleasures. They discover a joy that surpasses all worldly experiences—a joy that can only be realized through spiritual evolution.

Let us strive for this higher state, letting go of attachments and moving toward the infinite peace and attain the condition of KADAVUL.

4) Dear Abhyasis,

The path to liberation (Mumukshatva) is attainable only by cultivating positive qualities within oneself. These qualities must persist across lifetimes, as positivity is inherently pious. When positivity dominates, it becomes possible to overcome negativity.

One must await the particular lifetime where liberation becomes attainable. In that birth, positivity must outweigh negativity significantly, setting the stage for liberation. That specific lifetime may often be marked by more suffering than pleasure. However, if one is deeply engaged in spiritual practice during such a life, there exists a greater possibility of reaching the edge of liberation.

Many are unaware of the concept of the "Liberation Edge" or how to approach it. Sufferings, rather than being a source of despair, should serve as a catalyst for contemplating liberation. Unfortunately, most individuals seek solace in materialistic pleasures instead of using suffering as a gateway to spiritual evolution.

The state after liberation is both mystic and beyond description. It can only be experienced and not adequately conveyed in words.

Let us strive to nurture positivity and embrace spiritual practice, recognizing the deeper purpose of life’s challenges as steps toward liberation.

5) Abhyasi- Please explain what "Positivity is inherently pious" means Master.

Abhyasi:-Positivity represents purity. Purity is invariably pious.Auspiciousness is developed from piety.

6)Dear abhyasis,

Chivam represents the Universal Darkness. Therefore the full darkness day "AMAVASYA" is the right day to celebrate Chivratri. In our Chivality system, Master's energy is considered as Chivam.

Therefore, we can consider the AMAVASYA day as the special day in a month to sit in Silentation in remembrance of the Master.

This is recommended by our Master.

Amavasya day of january 2025 falls on 29th.

Abhyasi:- It is just symbolic. Isn't it?

Abhyasi:-Universal darkness is the symbolification of Chivam.

Abhyasi:- Is it mainly because of darkness or anything special about Amavasya 🌑? Usually full moon day is treated as auspicious know Madam?

Abhyasi:- Darkness is permanent. Amavasya represents darkness. Light is temporary. Poornima represents the light. Poornima is an auspicious day as far as Earth is concerned. Amavasya is an auspicious day as far as the universe is concerned. Universal consciousness or supreme divine consciousness is available in ever pervading dark energy.

Abhyasi:- I wanted to know the significance of Panchakshari: "Na Ma Chi Va Yam". I know that it symbolises the transition from "Naan" (I) to "Yamam" (Supreme Divine). It can also be used as a tool to help evade distractions and to provoke to remember always.

But now that all we focus on is Chivam and its representative, Master; is there any special significance regarding this "sound"?

Abhyasi:- Panchakshari mantra connects the whole universe . Its vibration reaches all through the universe.
Abhyasi:-But how?... How does a "sound" have such a property?... And how is astral silence established after this sound of Panchakshari travels through the area?

Abhyasi:-Adding on to it, they also say 'Aum' is divine sound of universe, is it true n then why is it not in panchakshri?

Abhyasi:-There is a symbolic significance to this. Om or Aum is said to be the sound of creation. As we seek to establish nothingness which transcends existence, we do not use it with Panchakshari

Master:- The vibration created from the panchakshari clears the space from impurities. It can cleanse any space. After cleansing, what is remaining is the silence.

AUM is the voice of Brahman. When you transcend Brahman, this voice becomes useless. Panchakshari is the universal voice found out by the earlier spiritually advanced people.

 1) Abhyasi- This discourse beautifully outlines the concept of the duality within the self—the pure and the impure—and the path to realizing the Pure Self. It delves into the essence of spirituality, emphasizing the transcendence of materialistic attachments and the importance of inner purification. Here's a summary of the key insights:

1. Duality Within:

Every individual possesses two selves:

Impure Self: Engaged in materialistic desires and worldly transactions, characterized by attachments, emotions, and suffering.

Pure Self: Beyond material concerns, connected to the soul, and the source of true peace and liberation.

2. The Role of the Mind:

The human mind is predominantly entangled with materialistic thoughts, leaving little space for spirituality.

To realize the Pure Self, the mind must be purified, akin to cleaning a muddy floor to reveal its true surface.

3. Path to Purity:

Purify the mind by silencing materialistic thoughts and focusing inward.

Negativity, as termed in the Chivality system, represents impurities that can be negated through mindfulness, meditation, and self-awareness.

4. Benefits of Realizing the Pure Self:

Freedom from Suffering: The impure self experiences suffering, while the pure self remains untouched by worldly troubles.

Peacefulness: As the Pure Self expands, inner peace and joy become dominant, reducing the grip of suffering.

5. Higher Spiritual World:

The Pure Self resides in a brighter, higher spiritual world beyond the materialistic mind.

This state can be achieved through persistent efforts to cultivate purity, silence the mind, and rise above material concerns.

6. Practical Implications:

Daily transactions and responsibilities can be managed by the brain and intellect, while the mind transitions into a pure, peaceful state.

This shift enables freedom from materialistic attachments and provides lasting peace.

This perspective encourages one to embark on an inner journey of self-discovery, aiming to transcend the transient material world and embrace the eternal peace of the Pure Self.

2) Master- What is Mind Space:

There are two types of minds mentioned as below:-

*_Impure Mind_* (Materialistic): Dominated by materialistic thoughts and desires, creating restlessness.

*_Pure Mind_* (Spiritualistic): Free of materialistic involvement, leading to silence, peace, and spiritual growth.

*_Silentation Practice_

Purpose: Expand the pure mind by achieving mental blankness or thoughtlessness, which represents purity and peace.

Process:

1. Sit in silence to remove thoughts.

2. Use the remembrance of a realized Master to aid in clearing the mind.

3. Gradually expand the pure mind's space, leading to higher levels of divinity.

Mindfulness:

1. Mind Full of Thoughts: Represents materialistic involvement and the impure mind.

2. Mind Full of Thoughtlessness: Reflects the pure mind, leading to peace and spirituality.

*_Spiritual Qualities_*

*_Purity and Peace_*

Purity leads to peace, and increasing purity deepens peacefulness.

*_Spirit and Spirituality_*

Spirit represents the pure mind, while spirituality involves embodying the qualities of the spirit (positive, non-disturbing traits).

*_Levels of Divine Expansion_*

Emptiness: Represents the initial condition of the spirit.

Expansion: Progresses through divine, super divine, supreme divine, and superior divine states.

Supreme Mind: Fully expanded pure mind, omnipresent throughout the universe.

This framework provides a structured approach to achieving mental and spiritual balance, emphasizing the role of silence, thoughtlessness, and purity in spiritual growth.

3) Abhyasi-

_Negativity, as termed in the Chivality system, represents impurities that can be negated through mindfulness, meditation, and self-awareness._

*master in above point, it should be impurities can  be removed by mindlessness,  silentation, and self-awareness right? Or should we take it as mind full of thoughtlessness?*

6. Practical Implications:

_Daily transactions and responsibilities can be managed by the brain and intellect, while the mind transitions into a pure, peaceful state._

*is the brain not powered by the mind?*

4) Master- A mind full of purity can be called mindlessness where there's no impure mind.

Human beings only need an impure mind to live here and to activate the intellect.  When you become Divine, you don't require any impure mind to activate your intellect. Intellect gets freedom from the impure mind and functions on its own.

5) Pure mind gives freedom to the intellect and functions like a robot. Feelings and emotions can't interfere in the functioning of the intellect.

6) Impure Mind not only gets tension while using the intellect but also gives stress to the intellect unnecessarily.

7) You, the Pure Self can experience the smooth functioning of the intellect without any disturbance when you become the Pure Self.

8) If the Self is staying in an impure mind, it's Impure Self and vice versa.

9) Pure Self doesn't experience sufferings and negative qualities. It's free from the negative materialistic world.

10) There are so many types of negative qualities in the human mind. Some qualities like, hatred, vengeance, jealousy, greed, high ambitions, extreme anticipation, etc. etc. disturb much for the human beings. Qualities like fear, anxiety and worries won't disturb much. Desires and expectations create very little disturbance.

In every quarter of Mano Nasha, one can experience the reduction in depth of the above mentioned negative qualities.

11)Abhyasi-For human beings,  is it   the same Self swinging between the mind space of pure and impure?

When self is in impure mind space it becomes impure self and when when self is in pure space it become pure self?

Master- Yes. One can understand it very easily. When the human being is disturbed, He can understand that He is in an impure mind. If He is at peace, He is in a Pure mind.

12) All the negative qualities emerge only when the human being is disturbed.

13) Dear abhyasis,

This exploration offers profound insights into the dynamics of the human mind, its connection with the Self, and the transformative journey toward achieving a state of purity or divinity. Here's a deeper reflection:

1. Mind as the Energy Field of the Self:

The mind is not just a mental construct but an energy field shaped by the Self.

Its driving force is Ego, which manifests in dual forms: positive and negative.

2. Qualities of the Mind:

The mind operates through preferences, forming likes and dislikes.

When it is forced to accept what it resists, impressions are created. These impressions are the seeds of negativity.

Negativity arises when the mind clings to undesirable experiences, emotions, or perceptions, fueled by the Ego.

3. Dual Nature of Ego:

Both the negative mind (impure) and the pure mind possess Ego.

Ego in the impure mind empowers negativity, creating suffering and attachment.

Ego in the pure mind leads to positive attributes and fosters spiritual growth.

4. Transformation of the Mind:

Destruction of negativity is the key to converting the impure, negative mind into a positive, pure mind.

This transformation aligns the mind with purity, which is synonymous with divinity.

5. The Path to Chivam:

As purity and divinity increase, the mind progresses toward its ultimate state, called Chivam.

Chivam represents the pinnacle of spiritual evolution, where the mind fully embodies divine qualities and transcends negativity.

6. Practical Implications:

By recognizing and addressing the roots of negativity (attachments, impressions, and resistance), the mind can undergo a gradual purification process.

Cultivating awareness, self-discipline, and negative mindlessness allows one to amplify the positive Ego and dissolve the negative.

This journey of purification is not instantaneous but incremental, requiring patience and persistent effort.

The concept of Chivam offers a vision of ultimate spiritual fulfillment—a state where the mind is free of all impurities, in complete harmony with the divine essence of the Self. This transformative process highlights the importance of understanding the nature of the mind and consciously working toward its purification.

14)Dear abhyasis,

To improve the quality and strength of Chivsangha, select two group leaders. One for the gents and other for the ladies. Practitioners who are above 15 years should be made as members for each group.

These two leaders can coordinate together to improve the Chivsangh attendance as well the quality of the practitioners.

Programmes in the chivsangh can be decided by the leaders. Find out Right leaders with leadership qualities.

15)Abhyasi- Dear Master,

How can we know that fear , anxiety and worries won’t disturb much?

These are the feeling because of certain long term impressions right Master?

Master- Don't try to analyse much about negative qualities. Better to forget it. Avoid looking at your negative side.

Abhyasi - Mind with its negative attributes is our enemy. When does it become our trustworthy friend?

Master- Don't expect your mind to become your friend. When You become the Pure Self, you won't require any friend. YOU can live anywhere without anyone.

Pure Self doesn't have a mind. It's a mindless condition.

16) Dear abhyasis,

To keep yourself pure, don't think about problems, people who have problems, unnecessarily. Thinking of the negative side is not good for a spiritual practitioner.

Think positively and about positive persons, if any you know. Positive persons have very lesser complaints.

17)

Whenever you think about problems, your purity will be affected. Try to avoid converting difficulties into problems. It will also reduce your inner strength.

18) Whoever takes birth in this materialistic world has to face difficulties. Impure mind converts difficulties into problems.

Improving positivity can reduce the feeling of problems.

Try to remember Master always to get connected with His energy.

Master's energy can improve the positivity in a practitioner.

Message 5 Jan

Abhyasi-Life storms, difficulties and challenges happen in the mind of the abyasi. If you surrender the mind to the inner Master or MY MASTER, you can face these problems effectively. Surrender of mind happens through silentation and constant remembrance of the master. When you invoke yr inner master for all yr transactions, surrender happens automatically. The inner master becomes the doer and you or the I become the observer.  The stronger the INNER MASTER OR MY MASTER, the greater the PURITY of MIND. My understanding of this quote. I stand to be corrected

 Message 4 Jan , 5.07 pm

1) Dear Abhyasis,

The practice of positivity is the cornerstone of our journey. Without embracing positivity, progress toward higher levels of existence becomes unattainable.

The spiritual journey unfolds through four stages:

1. Divine (Ä€tman): The foundation stage.

2. Super Divine (Brahman): Progressing toward higher awareness.

3. Superior Divine (Parabrahma or Vishnu): Attaining profound spiritual heights.

4. Supreme Divine (Chivam): The ultimate state of transcendence.

As we ascend these stages, the dissolution of the mind occurs progressively:

25% in the Divine stage,

50% in the Super Divine stage,

75% in the Superior Divine stage, and

100% in the Supreme Divine stage.

In the Divine stage, intense negative qualities such as hatred and vengeance begin to dissolve. As we advance, subtler negative tendencies, like desires and expectations, gradually diminish. Ultimately, all negativity is eradicated, leaving only purity and positivity.

This transformation is experienced through constant self-observation and sincere practice. Let us strive to become beacons of positivity, as this is the path to true spiritual evolution.

2) Dear abhyasis,

All stages mentioned above are different consciousness experienced by the practitioner.

Each consciousness has its own perceptions. While progressing spiritually, the magnitude of feelings, sentiments, belief etc. get reduced and can start experiencing a freedom from all these things

Generally, human beings are controlled by their minds. One can experience freedom from the mind slowly.  At last, you will be completely freed from the mind which causes suffering.

3) Dear Abhyasis,

The stages mentioned above represent different levels of consciousness experienced by the practitioner.

Each level of consciousness brings its own unique perceptions. As one progresses spiritually, the intensity of emotions, sentiments, and beliefs begins to diminish, allowing a sense of freedom to emerge from these attachments.

In general, human beings are governed by their minds. Through consistent practice and spiritual growth, one gradually experiences liberation from the mind's influence. Ultimately, this journey leads to complete freedom from the mind, which is the source of much suffering.

Let us move forward with trust and perseverance toward this ultimate liberation.

4) Dear Abhyasis,

Spiritual progress is not achievable without the support of a Master. This support comes in two essential forms: the Master's guidance and the Master's energy.

In our organization, the Master has provided ample guidance to practitioners through his teachings and discourse. However, the Master's energy is equally vital for transforming the practitioner's inner being and overcoming negativity. Guidance alone, without the infusion of this energy, cannot facilitate true spiritual progress.

In the Chivality system, constant remembrance of the Master is of utmost importance. The more a practitioner draws from the Master's energy, the greater the positivity that develops within. This energy purifies and uplifts, creating the conditions for deeper transformation.

For this to happen, the practitioner must cultivate a mindset of complete surrender. There should be a profound feeling that "The Master is everything to me, and I value him above all else. I will adhere strictly to his guidance." This attitude, when developed, amplifies the results of remembrance and strengthens the connection to the Master's transformative energy.

Remember, the Master is the bridge that can remove your sufferings and guide you to the edge of liberation. Trust, surrender, and remembrance are the keys to unlocking this divine support.

Let us commit ourselves fully to this path and cherish the gift of the Master's presence in our lives.

Abhyasi- When I joined the organization, it was SSS,  I.e, sadhane, smarane and samarpane.  Sadhane was  doing silentation, smarane was constant remembrance in all yr transactions from day to night. Samarpane is surrender of mind to master. I was also told that if sadhane and smarane is done sincerely invoking the master,  samarpane happens automatically. I was also told that I have to see the physical  master through my inner master or the internalized master to understand the true worth and value of the physical master. Only then we can understand the physical master fully or realize the true worth of the physical master. This was my understanding of our system then and even now.

5) Abhyasi-As we ascend these stages, the dissolution of the mind occurs progressively:

25% in the Divine stage,

In the Divine stage, intense negative qualities such as hatred and vengeance begin to dissolve.

50% in the Super Divine stage,

subtler negative tendencies, like desires and expectations, gradually diminish.

75% in the Superior Divine stage

100% in the Supreme Divine stage.

Ultimately, all negativity is eradicated, leaving only purity and positivity.

*Master can you please give more details on indicators of progress at each level,  which will help us self introspect?*

Dear Abhyasis,

Creating stillness of mind (Achanchala) is essential for those navigating the materialistic world. Changing moods are a natural trait of human beings, just as changing circumstances are inherent to this world. The real challenge lies in the lack of synchronization between these changes.

We cannot control the ever-changing nature of the material world since it is beyond our power. Nor can we align our fluctuating moods with these external changes.

The only way to overcome the disturbance caused by these changing moods is to cultivate stillness within. However, achieving stillness is no simple task, as the mind is inherently restless, constantly wavering between moods.

The key to stillness lies in awakening our inner energy. This awakened energy can stabilize the wavering mind and bring about the stillness we seek. Yet, the negativity within us often creates obstacles, making it difficult to access this inner power.

To overcome these hurdles, we need guidance and support. The energy of someone who has already awakened their Divine power can help us clear the path.

We are fortunate to have our Divine Master, whose boundless energy can assist us in awakening our own Divine potential. By constantly remembering Him, we can draw upon the energy of Chivam and remove the barriers within.

Make it a priority to create stillness at the earliest. Only then can you experience the ultimate tranquility and peace that comes from the Divine  alignment, freeing yourself from the disturbances caused by the changing material world.
