Sagun and Nirgun Bhakti Mouna chandrike -Jun 2017
1. SAGUN BHAKTI: With five senses dedicated to god: hymns,
with heart, ask god's help
2. NIRGUN BHAKTI: Worship with knowledge: with mind; when
the senses tempt us to do wrong, we should fight against it, to
become positive.
We can worship God with our five senses (Sagun Bhakti) or with knowledge (Nirgun Bhakti).
Sagun Bhakti is worshiping the God with the five senses, by dedicating these senses and their activities including worshiping to the God. It implies we speak good, we hear no evil, and we see with noble eyes excluding any immoral lust etc. It is worshiping the God with the heart using the five senses. It is not knowledge based or logic based. Reciting God's name or hymns (even without understanding the meanings as most of us do at present) is part of Sagun Bhakti.
Idol worship also falls in the same category; but remembrance it is not an end by itself. Some of us believe in idol worship and others think it is an immoral practice. This contradiction is the cause of many a battle in human society, both views can be right. However if Sagun Bhakti is an end by itself, then there is a flaw in it. An idol is an aid to worship the God; it is not the God, as perceived by a vast majority. To believe in, idol worship or other rituals (which we do using our five senses) may be good for a beginner but we must graduate to 'nirgun bhakti' as we grow. The advantage of idol worship/Sagun Bhakti is that it is an easy way to visualize God, similar to the way we remember our late parents with photographs.
But we must ensure that we graduate ourselves from Sagun Bhakti to Nirgun Bhakti i.e. worshiping God logically with knowledge or mind . However in our society, there is less emphasis on correct behavior as ordained by God and more emphasis is on the rituals etc. In Nirgun Bhakti the five senses are considered to be an obstacle to worshiping, as all the evil in the world emanates due to our never ending efforts to satisfy the ever hungry five senses. It thinks of social welfare as a means to remember and pray God.
The ideal combination is that we start with Sagun Bhakti and finally complement with Nirgun Bhakti and only then it will result in complete harmony in the society.
In the end Sagun Bhakti implies: the five senses dedicated to God, worshiping with heart, remember God with hymns and is easy to follow, as we depend on God's blessings to worship effectively. Nirgun Bhakti implies: five senses are the cause for temptations that obstruct us, it is worshiping with mind, thinks of God in social welfare, dependson self thus needs disciplined approach.

9-May-2017-Youth and Spirituality
Youth and Spirituality
Among the various stages in human life, youth time is more important. Anything and everything can be achieved during this period. This is the time when body and mind functions become strong.
This youth time has to be utilized properly by everyone before they become old. In this materialistic world, youth time is used to enjoy the life and forget about strengthening the mind, to maintain the youthness for ever. When the body loses its youthness, mind also loses its strength since the mind is depending upon the body for enjoyment. This temporary youthness is called materialistic youthness.
Materialistic youthness always search for happiness and enjoyment. This youthness never gets satisfied and want to change the situations every time in search of happiness. If the situations are not changed, the materialistic youth mind experiences boredom and become dull. To avoid the dullness, they are forced to go to adventurous activities and ready to meet the challenges, in search of pleasure. These people want continuous appreciation from others to create the happiness within them. Some materialistic youth when they could not fulfill their desires with their existing positions and opportunities, will try to find some other fallacious methods with the only intention to fulfill their desires without bothering about the way to reach their goals or desires.
This materialistic society encourages the youth to acquire higher positions and higher qualifications to become rich.. They have not been trained to face failures but forced to become successful always. Thereby they keep on pressurizing themselves by taking stress and strain to achieve something inn their life.
When opportunities are less in this world, to their satisfaction they are forced to takeup some job with pressure. This will develop some bad habits in them later on affecting the health..
Some other materialistic youth because of the desire to have more comforts in life, they undergo more stress to earn more money. If they are not able to earn the money in a eth8cal way, they go on unethical ways and become rich somehow or other.
These youth never mind about others and become so selfish. Some youth get transformed into negative elements and try to disturb the harmony of the society.
The society is the entire cause for making the youth as negative by giving them more pressure. As per this society a jobless male youth is considered as a useless guy and an unmarried female youth is considered as burden to her family. Both male and female youth undergo pressure in the society to achieve their positions.
Instead of motivating the youth to have a strong mind to face any kind of situations, the materialistic society creates pressure on them.
Every job should be considered as precious and the youth should be in a position to adopt those jobs which gives mental satisfaction without pressure unlike jobs which may yield them good income but with heavy stress and strain
With an intention to acquire the comforts and to coup with the growing needs of the society, todays’ youth (both male and female) are in a position to take up the more stressful and unwanted jobs which may not give them mental satisfaction.
Being this trend today, we have to change the youth mind as very strong and powerful. Spiritual positivity is the only way to give the mental strength to the youth. Practice of spiritual positivism which is the (shivality) reduces the stress and strain and destroys the negativity which is the cause for negative qualities in the youth. Shivality makes the youth as positive, not to worry about the situations and becomes unaffected by the Society’s negative perceptions.
If the youth is not strong in a nation, the progress of the nation never happens. Youth should become positive whether they are employed or married as the case may be and must be prepared to utilize the opportunities or try to create the opportunities, forgetting bout success or failures. The attempt that every youth makes itself is a success, irrespective of the results. If we motivate the youth only for success, he may not try because of his fear to face the failures..
We must make the youth to understand that every attempt itself is successful and every one attempting that itself will give the required results.

How to overcome negative tendencies in daily life?
How to overcome negative tendencies in daily life?
Article published in mouna chandrike on 5th april 2017
Everyone likes to be in a positive, progressive, prosperous and helpful society in this world for being peaceful, secure and happy in life. But we find the society is a mix of both positive and negative persons. To create a positive society, it is necessary to bring transformation at individual level and when that happens the society automatically becomes positive. The society generally considers all favorable things as positive and unfavorable things as negative. However, at individual level, people often indulge in negative activities routinely since they don't consider it negative. This is bad for the society and such a tendency should be discouraged as everyone has the right to be happy in the manifestation.
As far as positivity in the people at individual level is concerned, social positivity is entirely different from spiritual positivity. While something good done to the society is considered socially positive, spiritual positivity calls for creating a mental condition that does not disturb the seeker as well as the society. As the spiritual seekers do not aspire for riches, name and fame, they may not get involved in the societal matters voluntarily for betterment and well being of the society at large.
In daily life, people have to be careful in all activities like the behavior, communication and character to ensure that no disturbance is caused to the self or the society. All selfish motives should be dispensed with as it can harm the society and it is of prime importance to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the society.
It is commonly observed that people disturb others because of their own mental disturbances and hence it is better to sustain moon like coolness in the mind all the time to avoid causing conflicts, troubles, instabilities and disorders in the society. Shivality training gives a seeker the condition of spiritual positivity forever that causes no disturbances to anyone creating an entirely blissful 'Live in peace and give peace to others' atmosphere around. A peaceful mind can definitely do a lot of good things both the society and the self. Often,we come across people who do not try to do good things to the society because of the consequences to be faced. However, if we are able to succeed in overcoming such disturbances caused by others, it can create positivity in the society when needed.
The mental impurities accumulated due to several births taken so far will not allow us to be in bliss unless eliminated through the spiritual practice. Shivality training imparted with the help of the NC Master eliminates all negative tendencies in the seekers for a better life in the society. Regular practice awakens the power of Shivam in the seekers because of the Divine transmission from the realized Master who is the embodiment of Shivam.
Elimination of negativities in the mind creates spiritual positivity in the seekers and their day to day life becomes a peaceful sailing in the realm of Divine splendor in eternity.
