### Divine Bliss: An Ecstatic Condition Beyond the Mind
Divine bliss or Divyananda is a spiritual experience that goes beyond ordinary happiness, pleasure, and mental satisfaction. Within Chivality, it is understood as an ecstatic condition experienced when the mind becomes profoundly silent and disconnected from its usual involvement with the materialistic world.
Science may study brain activity and different mental conditions, but the spiritual experience of Divinity cannot be fully explained merely by identifying patterns of brain activity. Divinity, as understood in Chivality, belongs to the spiritual dimension beyond ordinary scientific explanations.
### The experience of Divine bliss
When Silentation deepens, ordinary thinking and mental involvement may subside. In this profound silence, a person may experience an unusual form of ecstasy that is entirely different from material happiness.
This ecstatic condition may be so intense that the person experiences a sensation of dizziness or feels as though they are losing their ordinary sense of awareness. The usual sense of identity and connection with the external world may temporarily fade.
Analogy: Imagine a person who has been living in continuous noise suddenly entering an atmosphere of absolute quietness. The contrast can feel extraordinary. In deep Silentation, the inner experience may be far more profound than ordinary quietness, bringing a sense of ecstasy that words cannot adequately describe.
Within Chivality, this experience is understood as Divine bliss — not happiness caused by something gained, but an ecstatic condition arising through profound inner silence.
The experience may create such a powerful sense of fulfilment that the person wishes to remain in that condition rather than return to ordinary mental activity.
### The role of the Master
Remembrance of the Master helps the practitioner settle the mind and deepen Silentation. As thoughts gradually subside, even the deliberate remembrance of the Master may disappear, giving way to a condition of non-remembrance.
The purpose is not to force the mind into an unusual experience, but to relax deeply and allow silence to develop naturally.
The central teaching of Chivality is that Silentation is the path, profound silence is the gateway, and Divine bliss is an experience of that inner journey towards Chivam.
