The Master Is Always With Me

The Power of Unshakable Faith

Namachivaayam.

Today, let us reflect on something very simple, but very powerful:

Faith.

There are many things in our life that we cannot see, touch, or directly experience, but we still know that they exist.

Can we see electricity?

No.

But when we switch on a light, we experience its effect.

Can we see the signal travelling from one mobile phone to another?

No.

But we trust it because we can hear the voice of a person who may be thousands of kilometres away.

So, the fact that we cannot directly see something does not necessarily mean that it is not present.

There are many subtle things in life that cannot be experienced through our ordinary senses.

Faith becomes the bridge between what we cannot yet experience and what we may eventually experience.

The Faith We Need

In Chivality, there is one faith that every practitioner should gradually develop:

“The Master is always with me.”

Let us think deeply about this.

Not:

“The Master is with me when I am happy.”

Not:

“The Master is with me when everything goes according to my wishes.”

Not:

“The Master is with me because I want something from Him.”

But simply:

“The Master is with me always.”

When things are good, the Master is with me.

When things are difficult, the Master is with me.

When I succeed, the Master is with me.

When I fail, the Master is with me.

When people appreciate me, the Master is with me.

When people misunderstand me, the Master is with me.

When I know what to do, the Master is with me.

When I don't know what to do, the Master is still with me.

This is the faith we have to develop.

Faith Without Expectation

But there is one very important condition.

Faith should not have expectation.

If I say,

“Master, I have faith in You, so please solve all my problems,”

then I am not really developing faith.

I am making a transaction.

True faith does not say:

“I believe in the Master because the Master gives me what I want.”

True faith says:

“I love the Master and remember the Master because the Master is the Master.”

We should not measure our faith by the number of problems that disappear from our life.

We should measure our faith by how peaceful we remain when problems are present.

That is a very important difference.

A Simple Analogy

Imagine a small child walking through a crowded market with its mother.

There are hundreds of people around.

The child does not know the roads.

The child does not know where to go.

The child does not understand what is happening around it.

But the child is not afraid.

Why?

Because the child is holding the mother's hand.

The child does not need to understand the entire world.

The child only needs to know, “My mother is with me.”

That feeling gives security.

In the same way, our life is sometimes like a crowded marketplace.

We don't know what is going to happen tomorrow.

We don't know what difficulties may come.

We cannot control every situation.

We cannot predict everything.

But if our inner conviction is:

“The Master is with me,”

then we do not have to carry the entire burden of uncertainty in our mind.

The circumstances may remain difficult.

But our inner condition can remain peaceful.

What Is the Purpose of Diary Writing?

Now we can understand why diary writing is important.

Diary writing is not simply about filling pages.

It is a method of remembering the Master continuously.

Before beginning an activity, remember the Master.

While doing the activity, remember the Master.

After completing the activity, remember the Master.

Gradually, we begin to feel:

“I am not doing this alone.”

The Master is with me.

This repeated remembrance slowly changes our inner consciousness.

Think about a muscle.

If we exercise it only once, it will not become strong.

But if we exercise it every day, strength develops.

Faith is also like a spiritual muscle.

Every remembrance is an exercise.

Every diary entry is an exercise.

Every moment of remembering the Master strengthens the inner connection.

Love and Remembrance

But there is another important element:

Love.

When we love someone deeply, we don't have to make an effort to remember them.

They naturally remain in our thoughts.

A mother does not need an alarm every hour saying:

“Remember your child.”

Love itself creates remembrance.

Therefore, our love towards the Master should gradually become such that remembrance becomes natural.

Diary writing gives us the discipline.

Love gives us the feeling.

Remembrance gives us the connection.

And continuous remembrance develops faith.

How Does Faith Remove Negativity?

Now, how does this faith help us overcome negativity?

Most of our negativity is strengthened by one basic feeling:

“I am alone.”

Fear says:

“What will happen to me?”

Anxiety says:

“What if something goes wrong?”

Insecurity says:

“How will I manage?”

Expectation says:

“Why didn't this happen according to my wish?”

But when deep faith develops, the inner response changes:

“Whatever happens, the Master is with me.”

That one conviction can change our entire psychological condition.

It is like darkness in a room.

We don't have to fight with darkness.

We don't have to push it out.

We don't have to argue with it.

We simply switch on the light.

Darkness disappears naturally.

Similarly, we don't have to fight every negative thought individually.

Strengthen the remembrance of the Master.

Strengthen the love.

Strengthen the faith.

As the positive inner awareness becomes stronger, negativity gradually loses its strength.

The Real Test of Faith

When is our faith really tested?

Not when everything is comfortable.

When everything is going well, it is easy to say:

“I have complete faith in the Master.”

But when something happens against our expectations, what happens?

Do we question the Master?

Do we become disturbed?

Do we lose our peace?

Or do we still hold on to one conviction:

“The Master is with me.”

That is where faith becomes powerful.

Think of an anchor attached to a ship.

When the sea is calm, nobody thinks much about the anchor.

But when a storm comes, the anchor becomes important.

Our difficulties are like storms.

Our faith is like the anchor.

The storm may come.

The waves may rise.

But the ship does not have to drift away.

Faith Does Not Mean Inaction

Faith does not mean that we stop acting.

We still have responsibilities.

We still have to work.

We still have to make decisions.

We still have to face our problems.

We should not sit quietly and say:

“Master will do everything.”

No.

We have to do our part sincerely.

But we don't have to carry the unnecessary inner burden that everything depends only on us.

We act sincerely.

We remember the Master.

We do everything with the feeling that the Master is with us.

And we accept that we cannot control every outcome.

That is where surrender begins.

The Transformation

So, what are we actually trying to create through diary writing?

What are we trying to create through love towards the Master?

What are we trying to create through continuous remembrance?

Not merely more thoughts about the Master.

We are trying to create unshakable faith.

The process is very simple:

Love creates remembrance.

Remembrance creates connection.

Connection creates faith.

Faith reduces fear and insecurity.

Reduced negativity brings peace.

Peace creates the right condition for deeper spiritual experience.

Therefore, let us not become discouraged simply because we cannot experience everything immediately.

Some experiences may come only when the mind becomes sufficiently prepared.

Until then, let our faith remain firm.

One Simple Sentence

Let us carry one sentence with us—not only during Chivsangh, not only during meditation, not only while writing the diary, but throughout our daily life:

“The Master is with me always.”

When you are happy—

The Master is with me.

When you are sad—

The Master is with me.

When you are successful—

The Master is with me.

When you are facing difficulty—

The Master is with me.

When you understand—

The Master is with me.

When you don't understand—

The Master is still with me.

Don't ask:

“What will the Master give me?”

Instead, develop the feeling:

“I have the Master with me.”

That itself is a great strength.

And when this faith becomes so strong that no circumstance can shake it, something beautiful begins to happen.

The world outside may continue to change.

People may change.

Circumstances may change.

Our fortunes may change.

But something within us remains steady.

The Master Is With Me.

That is the faith we should cultivate.

That is the faith we should protect.

That is the faith diary writing and love towards the Master are meant to create.

And when that faith becomes unshakable and non-revocable, the practitioner can move through the difficulties of life with greater peace, courage, and inner stability.
