Youth and
Spirituality
Among the various stages in human
life, youth time is more important. Anything and everything can be achieved
during this period. This is the time when body and mind functions become
strong.
This youth time has to be
utilized properly by everyone before they become old. In this materialistic
world, youth time is used to enjoy the life and forget about strengthening the
mind, to maintain the youthness for ever. When the body loses its youthness,
mind also loses its strength since the mind is depending upon the body for
enjoyment. This temporary youthness is called materialistic youthness.
Materialistic youthness always
search for happiness and enjoyment. This youthness never gets satisfied and
want to change the situations every time in search of happiness. If the
situations are not changed, the materialistic youth mind experiences boredom
and become dull. To avoid the dullness, they are forced to go to adventurous
activities and ready to meet the challenges, in search of pleasure. These
people want continuous appreciation from others to create the happiness within
them. Some materialistic youth when they could not fulfill their desires with
their existing positions and opportunities, will try to find some other
fallacious methods with the only intention to fulfill their desires without
bothering about the way to reach their goals or desires.
This materialistic society
encourages the youth to acquire higher positions and higher qualifications to
become rich.. They have not been trained to face failures but forced to become
successful always. Thereby they keep on
pressurizing themselves by taking stress
and strain to achieve something inn their life.
When opportunities are less in
this world, to their satisfaction they are forced to takeup some job with
pressure. This will develop some bad habits in them later on affecting the
health..
Some other materialistic youth
because of the desire to have more comforts in life, they undergo more stress
to earn more money. If they are not able to earn the money in a eth8cal way,
they go on unethical ways and become rich somehow or other.
These youth never mind about
others and become so selfish. Some youth get transformed into negative elements
and try to disturb the harmony of the society.
The society is the entire cause
for making the youth as negative by giving them more pressure. As per this
society a jobless male youth is
considered as a useless guy and an unmarried female youth is considered as burden
to her family. Both male and female youth undergo pressure in the society to
achieve their positions.
Instead of motivating the youth
to have a strong mind to face any kind of situations, the materialistic society
creates pressure on them.
Every job should be considered as
precious and the youth should be in a position to adopt those jobs which gives
mental satisfaction without pressure unlike jobs which may yield them good
income but with heavy stress and strain
With an intention to acquire the
comforts and to coup with the growing needs of the society, todays’ youth (both
male and female) are in a position to take up the more stressful and unwanted
jobs which may not give them mental satisfaction.
Being this trend today, we have
to change the youth mind as very strong and powerful. Spiritual positivity is
the only way to give the mental strength to the youth. Practice of spiritual
positivism which is the (shivality) reduces the stress and strain and destroys
the negativity which is the cause for negative qualities in the youth. Shivality
makes the youth as positive, not to worry about the situations and becomes
unaffected by the Society’s negative perceptions.
If the youth is not strong in a
nation, the progress of the nation never happens. Youth should become positive
whether they are employed or married as the case may be and must be prepared to
utilize the opportunities or try to create the opportunities, forgetting bout
success or failures. The attempt that every youth makes itself is a success,
irrespective of the results. If we motivate the youth only for success, he may
not try because of his fear to face the failures..
We must make the youth to
understand that every attempt itself is successful and every one attempting
that itself will give the required results.
