1) Dear Abhyasis,
Moksha or liberation is not meant for everyone — it is only for those who are truly eligible.
To receive moksha or mukti, a person must become completely positive in nature. He should have all the positive qualities like truthfulness, loyalty, honesty, patience, tolerance, love, no desires, no expectations, and no negative traits.
The selection for moksha depends on the quality of the person, not just on the desire for it.
While anyone can wish for liberation, only a few are truly deserving. As one walks the path of Chivamarga with a Shivaguru, the process of elimination happens naturally. This reduces the number of false seekers of liberation.
If someone is not chosen for liberation, they should not feel bad.
Instead, one should focus on becoming eligible by improving themselves.
The ultimate goal of human life is to attain moksha or liberation. When a human becomes divine, he is automatically freed from the cycle of birth and death.
We have evolved from animals, and we must become divine before we die. This transformation is only possible with the guidance of a Shivaguru who knows how to lead one to Chivam.
Becoming positive is the first step to becoming divine. Reaching Shivam means attaining the highest divine state.
2) Dear friends,
One who knows the value of moksha or mukhti, will give up everything for it. All of us are yet to know about it.
It takes time for an attached person to know about moksha. The entire training of Chivality is to know the value of mukhti.
Mukhti is not compulsory for a materialistic person.
The attachment towards money, property, name and fame is not going to help in mukhti. The practitioner gradually get rid of the attachment of the above. It's not only challenging but also difficult.
Sincere practice helps one to get rid of the attachment and come out of the difficulty with the help of Master.
3) The Greatness of the Guru
Dear Friends,
The mother carries within her the child of the father. In this way, to the child, the father holds a natural greatness. Yet truly, it is the union of both the mother and the father that gives birth to a human being.
While the soul—born as a human—takes on this precious form, its journey is not complete. It is meant to evolve beyond humanhood, into divinity. Since the parents are human, they can only give birth to another human.
To become divine, one must go beyond. One must seek and surrender to a Divine Guru. Only a being established in the Supreme Divine can uplift another soul to that same supreme state.
Thus, the Guru is considered the greatest among the three—mother, father, and Guru. The Guru is Parabrahma—the Supreme Consciousness, the supreme divine principle in living form.
Only such a realized one can raise the soul to the state of Chivam, the highest state of divine stillness and liberation.
Without the Guru, moksha (liberation) or mukti (freedom) is impossible.
Let us, therefore, walk this sacred path in humility, with remembrance of the Master, and allow ourselves to be lifted by His Grace.
4) The Difference Between Moksha and Mukhti
Dear friends,
Moksha is the liberation from the cycle of births and deaths. It signifies the end of the soul's journey through repeated incarnations. Moksha is attained after death, when the soul is no longer bound to return to the material world.
Mukhti, on the other hand, is a subtler and deeper state—salvation, or freedom from even the feeling of liberation. It is the realization that one was never truly bound to begin with.
The one who has attained mukhti is called a Jeevanmuktha—a liberated being who lives in this material world, yet remains untouched by it. Such a soul is free while still alive, immersed in stillness, beyond desires, and beyond bondage.
In Chivality practice, the path leads not just to moksha, but to mukhti—a living liberation (Jeevan Mukthi) guided by the presence and grace of the Master.
